Whimsy + Row is an eco-conscious lifestyle brand born out of a love for quality goods and sustainable practices. Since 2014, their mission has been to provide ease and elegance for the modern, sustainable woman.
Their limited run batches are handcrafted with love and care in sunny Los Angeles, under ethical conditions of course.By producing locally, they're able to cut down on their carbon footprint and create unique, waste-free pieces. They even upcycle their fabric scraps into cute accessories like bandanas and scrunchies!
Whimsy & Row favors low impact fabrics like Certified Organic Cotton, Linen, TENCEL™, Lenzing Modal™, Cupro, ECOVERO™, VISCOSE LENZING™ and Deadstock/Upcycled Fabric. These fabrics use less energy, biodegrade faster than synthetic fabrics and use substantially less water to create.
Their garments only uses low-impact dyes(free from the 8,000 different type of chemicals in synthetics) & recycled water. By refusing to use new water to create their garments, they leave more water for humans, plants, and animals. So far they have saved over 9.2 million days of water!
As of 2020 Whimsy & Row have avoided 44,135 in carbon emissions by offsetting their emissions with Carbonfund.org, who is leading the fight against climate change. Their partnership with Carbon Fund supports third-party validated and verified renewable energy, energy efficiency and reforestation projects globally!
