BELLE THE LABEL
Belle the Label is a fashion brand that embraces an unfinished and evolving design philosophy, drawing inspiration from coastal spaces, community, and untethered vision. They are committed to transparency, responsibility, and ethical practices, recognizing the negative impact of the clothing industry on both people and the environment. Their production philosophy includes prioritizing fair and just labor by working closely with skilled vendors in Bali, Indonesia, supporting the livelihoods of over 15 individuals.
In their collections, Belle the Label utilizes a range of low-impact textiles such as lyocell, viscose, recycled cotton, and natural fabrics like linen, silk, and organic cotton. They source these textiles locally in Indonesia, reducing the embodied carbon footprint of their pieces. With a focus on sustainability in swimwear, they use regenerated nylon fabrics like ECONYL®, which is created from nylon waste and helps eliminate the need for crude oil extraction while reducing carbon emissions.
