From their design studio, to pattern room, to the sample sewer, the cutting table to the production line and finally though inspection and packing line, it takes under 100 steps to complete a garment.
LIMITED RUNS
They believe in sufficient, not excess, so they built their business on a limited run model. Don’t over produce and don’t ever send a garment to landfill.
NATURAL FIBERS
LA RELAXED source third-party certified plant based fibers, like GOTS Organic Cotton, that are as safe for the growers as they are for your skin.
LOCAL SOURCING
They care about all things local. By forming partnerships with local mills, they are able to shrink most of our sourcing to within a 10-mile radius.
DEADSTOCK
Their close relationships with LA-based fabric mills also allows them to source excess yardage bound for the the landfill.
PEOPLE FIRST
The absolute beating heart of the company is the community of people who design, create, and make LA RELAXED. That is why they refuse to pay anything less than a living wages as we cultivate a respectful and collaborative atmosphere.
