ADA Swim
Adaswim is a sustainable swimwear brand founded by Bethany Osborn in 2020. Inspired by her mother's sewing teachings, Bethany noticed the lack of durable and affordable swimsuits in the market. She decided to create her own brand with a focus on sustainability. Starting from her bedroom floor, Adaswim grew as Bethany shared her creations with friends. Concerned about fashion's environmental impact, she committed to an eco-friendly approach and found ways to repurpose waste materials. Adaswim's swimwear is now ethically produced in Bali and shipped to Hawaii. Bethany handles all aspects of the business and values personal connection with customers. The swimwear features a fabric blend of 78% recycled nylon and 22% elastane, offering durability, chlorine resistance, UV protection (50+), and resistance to suncream and oil. Adaswim also repurposes fabric scraps by donating them to a jewelry creator.
